EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR A SENIOR EMPLOYEE

We wanted to make you aware that we have recently made updates to a document on our HR Document Bank, namely the Senior Employee Contract. The changes strengthen the position on fraud prevention.
Please find a summary of the key changes below
1. New clause 4.5 (within the Duties section)
This clause sets out an employer’s zero-tolerance approach to fraud. It requires employees to avoid any involvement in fraudulent activities (whether under UK or foreign law), to report any concerns regarding potential fraud, and to comply with an employer’s anti-fraud or ethics-related policies. The clause goes further to state that non-compliance may be treated as a disciplinary matter and could lead to immediate termination.
2. Addition to clause 17 (Termination without notice)
A new sub-clause (m) has been added, allowing an employer to terminate employment without notice where an employee is found to be in breach of their obligations under clause 4.5 or under an employer’s relevant anti-fraud or ethics policies.
